Frequent charges help maintain a Li-Ion battery compared to the need deep conditioning of the NiCad and NiMh batteries
NiCad batteries tolerate charging in extreme temperatures compared to other battery chemicals, but should be done within 5°C and 45°C or 41°F and 113°F but 10°C to 25°C or 50°F to 77°F is better for the battery. However, NiMh batteries do not like extreme temperatures for charging. They cannot be charged fast below 10°C or 45°F, and cannot be charged slowly below 0°C or 32°F.
